Disclaimer: They aren't mine. Never have been, never will be. Such a pity.

Denial: Season three never fucking happened.

Debts of Gratitude: Aithine, Calysta, Crystal, Deanna, Ellie.

Delicious: Shirtless Cade.

Summary: This story has been in progress for so effin' long that I don't remember how or when it started. Sometime not long after "All About Eddie," I think, definitely before season three, and it was probably Aithine's fault. I rewatched "Crazy Eddie" the other day and was reminded again of just how strong the bond between these two guys was. Stick this in the late season two timeline anywhere that makes you happy.

"I told you it was a great place, buddy. The best burgers in three states," Eddie said, as he brought the Cadillac to a stop in front of their latest campsite.

"I'm not sure how you'd know how the burger was, as much junk as you had piled on yours, but you were right. It was good." Cade got out of the car and walked toward the trailer.

Eddie followed, protesting. "Everything I put on that burger was carefully chosen, according to a precise--"

"Eddie, you eat like a goat. And you're slipping. I never thought I'd see the day when you'd forget to lock up..." Cade stepped into the trailer and froze. Angry at his own carelessness, he slid one hand closer to his gun, just in case.

"Come off it, I always lock up. Pull the other one, Foster." Eddie walked in behind Cade and stopped dead in his tracks with a shriek.

Reclining on the couch was a woman. Her smiling face was surrounded by a mane of hair in a shade of blonde that no one is born with. She was wearing a tight pink t-shirt and even tighter blue jeans. The effect was somehow almost as revealing as if she were nude. She was beautiful, in a carefully constructed kind of way. Cade's instinct was to turn away out of respect for her modesty, but something told him that she didn't have any. Her smile was directed over Cade's shoulder at Eddie, who, after screaming, had fallen into the same stunned silence as Cade.

"Hey, Eddie-baby," she purred, "how's it hanging?"

"Katie, what the hell are you doing here?" Eddie, apparently regaining his voice, pushed past Cade and walked toward the desk, hands shoved deep in his pockets.

The woman stood up and sauntered over to Eddie. She ran a hand down his arm and over his hip. "It's been a while. Thought I'd see if we could squeeze in a conjugal visit, tiger." Her eyes flickered over Cade. "Who's your friend? He's cute."

Cade felt as if his eyes would pop right out of his head. Eddie knew this woman. Intimately, from the looks of things.

Eddie pulled his hands from his pockets and ran them through his hair. "How did you find me? When did they let you out?"

"Eddie," Cade said, "what the hell is going on here?"

Katie draped herself over Eddie and winked at Cade. "Yeah, Eddie-baby, come on. Introduce me to the eye candy. Foster, did you say?"

"Uh, Katie," Eddie gulped air, "Katie, this is, uh, Foster. Ca--uh, Foster...Smith. Foster Smith. Foster, this is Katie. Katie...was my second wife."

"*Second* wife?" Cade gaped at Eddie. He hadn't even known that Eddie had been married once, much less twice.

"That's right. One wild night in Vegas, a wedding chapel with a dear little man who played the accordion. You remember, Eddie-baby..." Katie cooed. She was slithering all over Eddie like a python who'd found its next meal. He was enduring her groping with an embarrassed and somewhat sheepish expression.

Cade found himself unable to do anything other than stand and blink at the sight of his best friend being fondled.

"Katie!" Eddie squeaked, as one of her hands drifted further south than before, "What are you doing here?"

"What, I can't just drop by to visit my own husband?" Her pout was practically Oscar-worthy.

"Ex-husband. And no, you can't. You always want something. How did you find me this time? Nicky? I stopped telling him where I was ages ago, but--"

"It was Dean," Katie interrupted.

"Liar. Dean's been dead for almost two years. Why are you here?"

Cade shook his head. He couldn't watch any more of this. "Eddie, could we talk for a minute? Alone?"

Eddie looked at Cade, relief on his face. "Sure thing, Foster. Katie, do you mind?" He started trying to squirm out of her embrace.

"Aw, come on, Eddie-baby," she said, showing no sign of backing off.

Cade moved closer and put his hand on Katie's elbow, pulling her away from Eddie less gently than he'd meant to. "Beat it, sister. I need a minute alone with 'Eddie-baby.'"

Katie stepped back and looked Cade and Eddie up and down. "Ohhhh, so it's like *that,* is it? You two? I should've known."

Cade read her meaning right away. It wasn't "like that," but he wanted her gone. He moved closer to Eddie and slipped an arm around his waist, willing himself not to blush. "Yeah. You got a problem with that?" He looked steadily at her instead of Eddie, staring her down until she moved back.

"No. It does rule out one of the things I had planned for this visit." She winked. "Unless--"

"Out," Cade interrupted, his voice firm.

"All right, all right. I'm going. You'll find me outside when you're...done." She brushed past Cade and stalked out the door, letting it slam behind her.

Eddie moved away from Cade and walked to the fridge. He pulled out a can of Jolt, opened it, and took a long drink.

"Eddie, what the hell was all that?"

"Uh, Foster, what the hell was all *that*?"

Cade shrugged. "You looked like you could use the rescue. And it was her idea. Playing along seemed like the easiest way to get her out of here."

"Easiest way to get her out of here? Foster, do you realize that now my wife thinks that we're--that I'm--do you know what this is gonna do to my reputation?"

"Ex-wife. And I take it we're not sure she can be trusted, since you didn't tell her my real name. You could've done better than Smith. Besides, I wasn't aware you had a reputation. Or that you were ever married. Now are you going to explain, or not?"

Eddie drained the rest of his soda and sat down in his chair with a sigh. "Katie was my second wife. She's...troubled. Last I heard, she was living in a sort of halfway house. She, uh, she doesn't tell the truth very often, and she steals. She only shows up every now and then, when she wants something from me. I'll find out what it is this time and she'll be out of our hair."

Cade frowned. He was fairly certain that he knew what Katie was after, and he didn't want her to get it. "You're telling me that she's a compulsive liar and a klepto? You sure know how to pick 'em. Guess that explains this, then." Cade reached into his pocket and produced Eddie's wallet. "She snagged it when she was all over you. I got it as she tried to cop a feel on her way out. You'd better keep an eye on her, she could be out there hotwiring the Caddy for all we know. And how come you never told me you'd been married?"

Eddie took the wallet from Cade's outstretched hand and put it in his desk drawer. "It's kind of a long story. I'll fill you in later, after we find out why she's here. Okay, man?"

"Fine," Cade snapped. Then he took a deep breath and continued, "Let's go talk to her. The sooner she's gone, the better. We have work to do. And we'd better..." he moved closer and put his arm around Eddie again, "since we let her think we're, uh..." He trailed off. Eddie had married her, after all, so maybe he didn't want to be rescued from her. "Unless you want me to leave the two of you alone so you can set things, you know, straight."

"God, no, please don't leave me alone with her. It took weeks for me to fully recover after her last 'conjugal visit.' She’s, uh, got a lot of energy. The damage is already done, so we might as well keep up the charade."

"Okay, then, Eddie-baby. Let's see what she wants."

"Just don't call me that."

"Whatever you say, tiger." Cade took Eddie's hand and led him out the door.

Katie had stretched herself out artfully in the hammock and was swinging gently from side to side. Cade released Eddie's hand and grabbed a lawn chair, setting it up nearby. Eddie followed suit.

Sitting down with a sigh, Eddie asked, "So, why are you here, Katie?"

"Do I need a reason?" She raised one arm above her head, the bottom edge of her t-shirt riding up to reveal skin.

"You tried that already. You always have a reason. So spill it."

"Awww, Eddie-baby. You've never minded my visits before. You've always been...happy to see me."

Eddie blushed and avoided Cade's eyes. "Just cut the crap and tell me why you're here."

Katie pouted. "I got in deep with the wrong people. He seemed like a nice enough guy and all, I mean, how was I supposed to know he was a mobster? And I didn't borrow *that* much money from him."

"Right. So you're out of cash already? You didn't have to track me down for that."

"I need something only you can do for me, Eddie-baby," she said, batting her eyelashes, "I need you to work those magic fingers of yours and hack me up a new identity. They're bad guys. I've got to keep them from finding me."

"That's all you want?"

"Well, no, but I guess I'll have to make do."

"And if I do it, you'll leave us alone?"

"Yeah," she said with a frown, "if that's what you really want."

"Okay, then. First thing, you go into town, get some photos taken in one of those little coin-op booths. I'll need those for your fake ID. Take your time, change your hair or whatever first, and I'll start on the prep work."

She sat up and smiled brilliantly at Eddie. "You got it. I sure hope Foster here knows how lucky he is to have you, Eddie-baby." She stood up and strolled away into the trees, only to emerge again a moment later on a motorcycle. She roared away in the direction of town.

Cade watched her disappear with a feeling of relief. He turned to Eddie. "Whole story. Now."

"There isn't much to tell, Foster. We used to be married, now we're not."

"Well, for starters, how come you never told me you'd been married? I had no idea you had one ex-wife, much less two."

Eddie looked down and rubbed at the back of his neck. "Actually, three."

"Three?"

"They all divorced me. Being a three-time loser isn't exactly something I'm proud of. And not one of my marriages was anything like yours. From what you've told me, you and Hannah, you really had it, man, that once-in-a-lifetime thing that everybody dreams about. That's why I never mentioned it, I guess."

"So tell me about them."

"After I left my life as Larry Pisinski behind, I tried to live like a relatively normal guy for a while. I always made sure to stay out of the public records, used a different last name almost every time I had to give one, that kind of thing. The other two weren't like Katie. Julia was a librarian. Rachel managed a Radio Shack. They both left me when I got too crazy for them to handle, both in under a year. Rachel was even into conspiracies, just not as much as me. Good women, both of them, and I can't really blame them. Katie was different. It was very brief. I went off my meds, went to Vegas. Had an unbeatable system. I used the computer to generate..."

Cade tuned out as Eddie slid effortlessly into yet another of his detailed technical explanations. Katie wasn't what he'd have pictured for Eddie's taste in women, or the kind of woman he'd thought would go for Eddie. Yeah, sure, he'd already known that there'd been at least one woman in Eddie's life. His high school girlfriend, Marianne, who Cade had always pictured as some geek girl with braces, glasses, and a funny giggle. Not that Eddie wasn't attractive, in fact, Cade found it easy to picture someone falling in love with him. He just wouldn't have pictured this. He pictured someone wholesome. Someone nice. Someone smart. Someone fully clothed. Katie was a bimbo. No, she was more than that. She was like a caricature of a bimbo. Next thing he knew, Eddie would tell him--

"...and that's how we met. She was a dancer. A stripper, really, but anyway. Eventually my system turned out not to be so unbeatable. The money ran out, and that was it for us."

The disbelief must have shown on Cade's face, because Eddie frowned at him.

"What? You think she's a little out of my league? Yeah, she is. Wondering what she saw in me? Well, she's crazy, Foster. Makes me look like a model of mental health." Eddie stood up and walked into the trailer.

Cade jumped up and followed him, protesting. "No, that's not what I was thinking at all. I was just thinking about your weakness for beautiful women."

"Hey, what can I say?" Eddie said, opening a closet door and digging through a stack of shoe boxes. "Babes dig Crazy Eddie. Besides, you're one to talk. They drop like flies for you. Sometime, when the Gua give us a day off from this saving the world bit, we'll have to go cruising for chicks in the Caddy."

"Sure, Eddie." Cade sat down at the desk. Yes, Eddie definitely had a weakness for beautiful women. He panted after almost every one they met. In fact, a beautiful woman had been plastered all over Eddie not long after they'd met. Cade had walked into the trailer and seen some alien bimbette, there after the orb that turned out to be Joshua's, with her tongue halfway down Eddie's throat and her shirt open. And Eddie hadn't exactly been beating her off with a stick. Put a pretty woman in front of him, and he turned into a babbling idiot instead of a genius. Apparently that included Katie. "What is all that stuff?"

Eddie had stacked several shoe boxes on the desk and was searching through them. "Makeup. Other stuff she might need."

"You keep her stuff here? Just how often does she stop by?"

"It's not all hers. The dress I lent to Lizbeth? That was Julia's." Eddie squinted at a tube of lipstick and discarded it. "But she doesn't visit. Neither does Rachel. Katie stops by whenever she needs something from me. Sometimes I think she just gets bored."

"And you two..."

"She's a hard woman to say no to."

"You're a pushover, Eddie."

"You ought to know, Foster. I've followed you into so many dangerous situations that I'm starting to think I must be more suicidal than paranoid." Eddie continued to sort out the contents of the boxes into two piles on his desk.

Cade sat back and thought about what Eddie had just said. He had to admit that that was true, too. They had been through a lot together. Eddie had followed him into countless life-threatening situations, saved his life in several of them. He couldn't imagine where he'd be without Eddie. And Katie wasn't the first to assume that they were a couple. He'd heard "So you two..." and various equivalents from several of the people they'd met in their travels. At first he'd laughed it off, but over time he'd found himself starting to wish that it was the truth. It had felt good to say yes this time to the assumption that they were involved. And that, in turn, made him feel guilty. He was enjoying this--holding Eddie's hand, putting an arm around him. He'd jumped at her suggestion that they were together, and now he felt like he was taking advantage of his best friend. That was something that his conscience wouldn't allow. "Hey, Eddie?"

"Yeah, Foster?" Eddie carried most of the boxes back to the closet, leaving one on the desk.

"Maybe we should drop this act."

"Why?"

"I don't know. She is your ex-wife, are you sure you want to lie to her? Are you sure you want to do this?"

Eddie shrugged. "What the hell. It's not a big deal, really, and she'll be gone by morning anyway. Speaking of, I've got some serious work to do on her new identity."

"Anything I can do?"

"Nah, just kick back and relax for a while." Eddie sat down at his desk and started typing.

Cade watched Eddie work for a little while, then left the trailer. He'd only feel useless and wind up distracting Eddie if he stayed. Eddie would be busy for a while, and with no aliens to chase at the moment that left Cade with nothing useful to do.

He paced around outside the trailer, trying to think about other things, but his thoughts kept returning to Eddie. Eddie's weakness for beautiful women had already kept Cade awake a night or ten. Now, with this Katie thing, he didn't need a Nostradamus quatrain to see a lot of sleepless nights in his future. Marianne had been bad enough. He'd joked around about being jealous when Eddie had first mentioned her, but by the time of the reunion he'd had to face the fact that he actually was. Falling in love with Eddie was easy, Cade knew that all too well. Living with him was hard, but he had managed that for a long time now, longer than any of the ex-wives.

It was almost dark before he heard the motorcycle approaching, and all he'd managed to do was think about Eddie. Katie parked behind the Caddy and walked toward Cade, a cold look in her eye. Eddie must have heard the motorcycle, too, because he came out of the trailer just then. Katie quickly turned to Eddie and smiled brightly.

"I'm glad you're back," Eddie said, wearing the focused expression he always did when he was trying to solve a problem, "I've got the prep work done. Now you've got a couple of choices to make. Come inside and I'll show you."

With a sideways glare at Cade, Katie followed Eddie into the trailer. Cade paced around for a few more minutes, and was about to give up and go in when the trailer door flew open.

"Let's talk about it out here," Eddie said, rubbing at his mouth as he walked to one of the lawn chairs. Cade quickly sat down in the chair nearest to Eddie and scooted it closer, putting a possessive hand on Eddie's knee. Katie, pouting, sat down across from them.

Eddie explained the work he'd already done, and Katie paid rapt attention, answering Eddie's occasional question with as much innuendo as possible. Cade felt out of place, left out, jealous. Usually Eddie had this kind of focus when he was working to solve the latest Gua-related problem. He knew that it was petty, that Katie would be gone in the morning, that Eddie was working so hard because he wanted to get rid of her, too, but that didn't change the facts. Eddie didn't return his feelings, and once Katie was gone things would be the same as they'd always been.

After a few more minutes of listening to Eddie and Katie, he just couldn't take it any more. Cade cleared his throat. "I'm getting pretty tired. I think I'll turn in." He started to pull his hand back from Eddie's knee, but Eddie caught it and grasped it firmly.

"Foster?"

"Yeah, Eddie?"

"Aren't you forgetting something?" Eddie stood up and tugged Cade's hand.

"What?" Cade stood up and looked into Eddie's eyes, trying to read what he saw there.

"This." Eddie smiled and pulled Cade into a kiss.

Despite his shock, Cade responded without hesitation or second thoughts. They kissed more deeply, arms encircling each other.

"Oh, please. Get a room."

They broke apart, looking quickly at Katie and then staring at each other in surprise. Cade stepped back. "Goodnight, Eddie. Come to bed soon." Two could play the innuendo game.

Eddie smiled. "Goodnight, Foster. I won't be long."

Cade turned and walked into the trailer, feeling light and joyful. If the kiss had been just for Katie's benefit, a simple peck would have been enough. But he'd forgotten that she was there for a moment, and he was pretty sure Eddie had, too.

He turned on the light and looked around, trying to decide where he should wait and what he should be wearing when Eddie came inside. He'd been so sure that Eddie didn't share his feelings, and now it looked like he'd been wrong. But if he hadn't been, if the kiss had just been part of the act, or if Eddie wasn't ready for more, he didn't want to pressure him.

The trailer was fairly clean at the moment. He considered sitting on the couch, but that was where she'd been just a few hours before. Eddie's desk was a mess, as usual, but today it was covered with all of the things he'd been using to help Katie--photographs, documents, scissors, tape. Cade didn't want to sit at the desk and have to stare at all of that. He knew he'd be glad when she was gone and he and Eddie could get on with their lives and their relationship, whatever it turned out to be.

He peeked out the window of the trailer. Eddie and Katie were still sitting outside, and as Cade watched, she stood up and moved closer to Eddie. Eddie jumped up and backed away, shaking his head. Katie nodded and stood still for a minute or so, then stepped forward again. Eddie dodged. Satisfied that Eddie was holding his own against Katie's advances, Cade stepped away from the window, turned out the light, and lay down on the bed, still fully clothed. If it turned out that Eddie wanted him naked, he was more than willing, but he didn't want to assume anything.

It wasn't long before the trailer door opened. Eddie came in and sat down at the computer with a sigh. Cade listened carefully, a sizzle of nervousness and arousal building at the base of his spine. Would Eddie take him up on his invitation? It felt like forever, but Eddie finally stopped typing. Cade heard the squeak of the desk chair and a long exhale of breath as Eddie pushed it back and stood up.

Just then, the trailer door opened again.

"What is it, Katie?" Eddie hissed quietly.

She stepped inside and let the door close behind her. Cade heard her moving further away from him, closer to Eddie and the desk. She spoke softly, and he strained to listen. "I'm sorry about how I acted out there. I just hoped we could talk for a minute. We were in love once."

"I know," Eddie whispered. "So what do you want to talk about?" He sat back down. Cade could just make out the shape of his body in the chair, and it looked like Katie was leaning against the desk.

"This Foster of yours," she said, "how long have you been together?"

Eddie hesitated, then said, "It'll be two years in May, I guess."

"And do you love him?"

"What are you driving at, Katie?"

"It's just a question. Do you love him?"

"I don't see how that's any of your conc--"

"Just answer me, Eddie."

"Yes, I do. I love him. Why?"

"Things just seem kind of weird between you two. Does he make you happy?"

"Yes."

Cade heard movement and the squeak of the chair. He strained to see what was going on. It looked like Katie was on Eddie's lap.

"But does he know how to make you *really* happy?" She cooed. "I bet he doesn't make you happy like I do." Her voice dropped to a whisper that Cade couldn't make out.

"Katie, I am with Foster."

"So?"

"He is asleep right over there, hardly ten feet away," Eddie hissed.

"Then come outside with me, baby."

"I can't."

"Just for a minute. Your precious Cade is sound asleep."

Cade heard the unmistakable sound of kissing, the sound of a zipper, and then a muffled squeak from Eddie.

"Okay," Eddie whispered. "Okay."

Cade lay in bed and listened in disbelief as Eddie followed Katie out of the trailer. So close. They'd been so close, and now, with one little lap dance, Katie had ruined it and they'd never... No. No. He'd felt a real connection, it was finally going to happen for them, and Katie wasn't going to stop that. He had to do something. Cade Foster wasn't the type to wait around. He was going to go outside and do something. He didn't know what yet, but he'd figure it out when he got there. He stood up and walked quietly out of the trailer.

The scene he saw outside wasn't what he had expected. Eddie was in the hammock, tied down and squirming, and Katie was standing over him with a large knife in her hand. She hadn't seen Cade yet, and he paused, taking in the situation and trying to decide how to handle it without getting Eddie killed.

"You ruined everything," she growled. "You and your little friends. I had a promising career ahead of me until all of you came along. It was bad enough when your pathetic friend Dean managed to steal Joshua's orb. He died for it. But when you and Cade Foster destroyed a whole batch of clones and got away, my fate was sealed. I was given nothing but useless assignments, with no hope of advancement."

He didn't dare risk the noise of going back into the trailer for his gun. Cade crept closer as she continued her tirade.

"But I managed to call in a few last favors to get this body. I knew that everyone who'd tried a direct attack on the two of you had failed. I had to get close. So now, while he sleeps, you will die. I'll bring him in alive for dissection, and my status with the Assembly will be restored. They'll see just how much they underestimated me."

Finally, Cade was close enough. He'd moved in on a wide, circular path to get behind her, and now he dove at her, knocking her to the ground. The knife flew from her hand.

She clawed and kicked at him, and while he fought as hard as he could, he was no match for her enhanced strength. She broke free and reached for the knife.

Cade moved to try to block her, but he was too late. She stood, the blade glinting in the moonlight, and turned back toward the hammock. It was empty. Her eyes widened in confusion, she whirled around, and then she gasped.

Cade looked on as she crumpled to the ground and dissolved. Eddie stood next to a tree, looking visibly shaken, a bloody pair of scissors in his hand.

Eddie dropped the scissors and leaned heavily against the tree. "Thank you. I'm glad you picked up on the way she used your first name back there in the trailer. Way to go, man."

Cade walked over to stand next to Eddie. "Actually, that wasn't it," he admitted. "I was too jealous to even notice that she said it. I came out because I thought you two..."

"She pulled a knife on me, Foster. That's the only reason I came out here with her. I'm just glad I was able to get the scissors from my desk as we left. Sure helped with the rope." He slid down to sit on the ground. "And with her."

"Yeah."

"Is the real Katie dead, do you think?"

"Hard to say. She had to spend some time with her, to learn how to act, her history..."

"She's probably dead now, though." Eddie pulled up a handful of grass and threw it aside. "She didn't deserve that."

"I know." Cade held out a hand to Eddie and pulled him to his feet.

Eddie didn't let go of Cade's hand. "She had plenty of problems, but I really did care about her back then." He looked Cade in the eye and continued, "Guess I've just got a thing for thieves."

"So then what you said to her back there..."

"About loving you? Yeah, that was the truth."

"Good." Cade smiled gently. "We'll talk more about that later." He tugged Eddie's hand and led him into the trailer. They got into bed together and Cade held Eddie tightly in his arms, surrounding him with warmth until Eddie finally slept. Cade drifted off not long after, thinking of the things he'd say to Eddie in the morning.

When Cade woke up, it was still dark out, and Eddie's hand was stroking up and down his chest. He pulled Eddie closer, searching out his mouth in the darkness, and kissed him softly.

"I thought I knew everything about you," Eddie murmured when the kiss ended.

"You do now. My life's been an open book to you, Eddie. But first the whole Larry thing and now this, it makes me realize just how much I don't know about your life before we met. I want you to tell me everything."

Eddie hooked one leg over Cade and slid on top of him. "Later. You already know the important stuff." He kissed Cade deeply.

Cade smiled. "But what about your reputation?"

"It was already shot a long time ago." Eddie said with a wriggle of his hips that made Cade gasp.

"I love you, Eddie."

"I love you, too."

They kissed until Cade couldn't think. They tugged at each other's clothes, almost frantic with the desire to get closer, feel more. The soft light of dawn was beginning to show through the curtains, and everything seemed to glow. Eddie stroked a path along one side of Cade's chest, from his nipple to his waist, over and over until Cade felt almost hypnotized by it. He wanted to touch Eddie. Taste Eddie. He rolled, turning them over so that Eddie was underneath him.

Cade kissed Eddie's neck, then slid downward. He heard a sharp intake of breath and a stifled squeak. "Make all the noise you want," he said huskily, then took Eddie's cock into his mouth.

Eddie moaned, low and deep in his throat. The sound of it drew an answering moan from Cade, the vibration of it passing back to Eddie through Cade's lips, like a circuit of sound. Cade felt Eddie shiver underneath him as he licked up and down the veins of his erection. Eddie's back arched, thrusting his cock deeper into Cade's throat, and Cade let him set the pace and fuck his mouth for a moment. Then he pulled away and slid back up to kiss Eddie on the mouth.

Cade sucked Eddie's lower lip into his mouth and bit it gently before releasing it. Eddie's hips bucked and rolled against his, and their cocks slid against each other as they kissed, gentle brushes of lips punctuated by gasps for air.

Eddie ran his fingertips along Cade's jawline, then slipped one finger into Cade's mouth. Cade sucked it all the way in, licking along its length before releasing it. Eddie held him close, rubbing against him faster and faster. Then Eddie reached down and slid the tip of his spit-slick finger into Cade's ass.

Cade slammed his hips hard against Eddie's hand, pushing that finger in deeper, the shock and the pleasure of it sending a spasm of ecstasy through his whole body. He froze, his only movement the twitch of his cock as he came, semen spurting out onto Eddie's groin.

Eddie, finger still buried in Cade's ass, pulled their bodies even closer together. He thrust up hard and came, crying out into Cade's mouth.

Cade leaned his forehead against Eddie's, still gasping for breath. "Oh," he finally managed, "oh. That was..." He smiled. "Now please tell me that we don't have anywhere to be for a couple of days, Eddie."

"We don't," Eddie said, his voice rough. "Why?"

Cade slithered in Eddie's embrace with a chuckle. "Why? Because like you said, we've been together for almost two years now. And I think that makes us way overdue for a honeymoon."

"Oh," Eddie smiled. "Oh, *yeah.*"
